my Typing Quest teaches children to type. Because our users are children, we collect as little as we can, never show ads, and put parents in control. This page explains what we collect and why.
A parent or guardian creates the account and is responsible for it. Children never create accounts, and never need an email address or password. Children sign in on a device the parent has set up, with an optional 4-digit PIN.

About each child:
Only to run my Typing Quest: to choose each lesson's keys and words, show progress to the parent, enforce the limits the parent set, and keep the service secure. Parents can send a short note ("cheer") that appears on their own child's screen.
Payments are handled by Stripe. The card form on our payment page is provided by Stripe and appears inside the page, so to show it your browser loads Stripe's code. Only the payment page does this; the rest of the site, including everything children see, loads nothing from Stripe or any other third party. We never see or store your card number. We keep your plan status, billing period and a Stripe customer ID, so we can show your plan and let you manage it. Stripe keeps payment records as the law requires. If you delete your account, we delete your Stripe customer record, which also cancels any subscription.
Data is stored with Cloudflare, our hosting provider, and is encrypted in transit. Passwords and PINs are salted and hashed. Access to a child's data requires the parent's account.
Until you delete it. If you stop using my Typing Quest, you can delete the account, and we'll remove the data.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell parents by email before it takes effect. Contact: support@mytypingquest.com.
