How it works

Ten calm minutes a day. A whole world to explore.

The keyboard becomes a map. Each row is a region, each lesson is a stop along the way, and every stop teaches a pair of keys, finger first.

1

Pick a world

Kids choose the adventure that feels like theirs: a cozy forest, life aboard the space station in low Earth orbit, or realistic deep space. We recommend one for their age.

2

Practice a little, often

Short lessons light up the next key and the right finger. A slip never ends anything. A gentle hint appears and they carry on.

3

See real progress

Parents get a key-by-key map, plain-language insights and gentle goals. Kids see their world grow as their skills do.

Try it right now

This is how every lesson starts.

Type the word below. The glowing key is next, and each key is tinted by the finger that types it. No account needed.

Click the box and start typing.

Three worlds, one set of lessons

Every child gets the adventure that fits them.

The lessons and progress are identical in every world. The look, the story and the cool true facts they discover between lessons change, and kids can switch whenever they like. Parents can lock a world or hide one.

Ages 5โ€“7

Forest

A cozy adventure with Pip the fox through meadows, treetops and burrows. Between lessons, kids discover real plants and animals.

Ages 8โ€“10

Low Earth Orbit

Orbit Earth with Nova the robot co-pilot. Kids learn about the space station, Starlink and the Space Shuttle, one short discovery at a time.

Ages 9โ€“14

Deep Space

Pilot a realistic starship past planets, nebulae and galaxies. Each lesson unlocks a true story about the solar system, stars and the Milky Way.

The learning design

Built around how children actually learn.

1
Accuracy before speed

Stars come from clean keystrokes. Speed follows once the fingers know the way, which makes bad habits much less likely to form.

2
Spaced, adaptive practice

Every key has its own mastery score. Shaky keys come back in later lessons at just the right moments, and solid ones step aside.

3
A just-right challenge

Lessons introduce two keys at a time, finger first, and build on what's already solid. Never bored, never overwhelmed.

4
Praise for effort, not rank

No countdowns, no game over, no streaks to break and no leaderboards. Kids are only ever compared with their own last try.

Every key has a story

The map kids see in their world is the same picture parents see in their dashboard.

Questions

Good questions, honest answers.

What ages is it for?

my Typing Quest is designed for ages 5โ€“14. Each world is built for an age range, and we recommend one when you add your child. Kids can still choose any world.

Does my child need a keyboard?

Touch-typing is learned on a physical keyboard, so a laptop, desktop or Chromebook works best. A tablet with a keyboard is great too. On-screen keyboards work, but they're not ideal for building the habit.

How long should they practice?

The default goal is 10 minutes a day with a 20-minute limit, and you can change both. Short, regular practice beats long sessions. There are no countdown timers inside lessons.

What if we miss a day?

Nothing happens. There are no streaks to lose and no penalties. my Typing Quest simply picks up where your child left off.

How does billing work?

Every account starts with 14 days free and no card. When you're ready, choose monthly ($4) or yearly ($40) in your parent area. Stripe handles the payment securely. From the same page you can change plans, update your card, see invoices or cancel any time. If you cancel, your explorers keep playing until the end of the period you've paid for.

What happens when the free trial ends?

Lessons pause until a parent subscribes. Nothing is deleted: progress, reports and data downloads stay available, and everything picks up exactly where it left off.

What does it teach today?

All 26 lowercase letters, the number row, and the ; , and . keys, one finger-guided step at a time, with every lesson adapting to the keys your child finds trickiest. Capital letters and more punctuation are next on our list.

How is my child's privacy protected?

You create the account, and kids never need an email address or password. We show no ads and don't sell data. You can download or delete everything about your child at any time. Read the privacy policy.

Can siblings share one account?

Yes. One family account holds up to five explorers, each with their own progress, world and optional 4-digit PIN.
